Work Positions: 

 Lecturer (University of Derby) 2018-Present,  (maternity cover), Module lead for independent studies, genetics, study skills.Taught and assessed a number of forensic based modules, including applied entomology, research methods, crime scene to court and professional practice. acted as internal moderator for a number of modules from levels 3-7.

Associate Lecturer (University of Worcester) 2017-Present, Duties include teaching Forensic Entomology and post mortem interval estimation on the module medical forensic science. 

Associate Lecturer (University of Lincoln) 2013-Present, Duties include teaching on the BSc Forensic Science program. Including the writing and delivering of the Third year Forensic Entomology lectures and Practical's

Associate Lecturer (University of Derby) 2012-Present, Duties include the writing of lectures and teaching on the Forensic Science and Zoology BSc programs, Laboratory supervision, assisting colleagues in labs. Modules taught include: Applied Entomology, Introduction to Forensic Science, Invertebrates and Invasion of land.

Demonstrator/Hourly Paid Lecturer (Nottingham Trent University)(Biology and Forensic Biology) 2008- Present, Currently demonstrate laboratory techniques to undergraduates in a wide variety of modules from Introductory Biology for Forensic Science (Biochemistry and Histology) to Forensic Archeology and Paleopathology and Environmental Forensic Assessment (Entomology and clandestine graves). Whilst undertaking a PhD study.



General entomology, reading entomology and forensic entomology. Also practicing entomology, including field work and identification, including species not usually studied. Photomicrography, and microscopy.

War gaming, miniature painting and terrain making.

Hockey. Played roller hockey for Nottingham Apaches and East Midlands from 1997 - 2001. Enjoy watching ice hockey.

Playing bass guitar and rhythm guitar, and writing music for these instruments.
